Policies
Terms
- Volume-incentivized discount pricing based on monthly gross volume with VSP. 20% discount on $2,000+ monthly volume, 10% discount on $1,000+ monthly volume, list price on <$1,000 monthly volume.
- Rebates are subject to terms based on individual agreements, and paid via VISA cash gift cards, or statement credit towards next month's bill.
- All stock sales are net (no discount).
- Purchaser agrees to pay 1½ % per month service charge on items, which remain unpaid 60 days and over.
- Customer agrees to pay all court costs plus attorney’s fees of 15% of the then unpaid balance if this matter must be referred to an attorney for collection.
- Credit balance redeemable for merchandise only.
Account status
- All accounts must be kept current.
- Accounts with a balance in the:
- 30 Day column will be placed on cod.
- 60 Day column will be placed on credit hold.
- 90 Day column will be sent for collection.
- Accounts must be current to participate in all incentive programs, special pricing programs, etc.
Order cancellation
- A prescription order will be subject to a 50% cancellation charge once the lenses are generated and returned within 30 days of shipping date.
Combat warranty program
- When enrolled, a warranty charge is added to all new Rx orders.
- One-time doctor prescription changes may be made at no charge with in one year.
- Additional prescription changes qualify for 50% discount off list.
- Edging errors reported within thirty (30) days may be corrected without charge.
- Applicable one-year or two-year protection periods apply according to product selection.
- Mirror coatings are excluded from coverage.
Lab credit / warranty
- Customer account must be current to be eligible for any warranties.
- GSRx reserves the right to request any lens to be returned for evaluation.
- Warranties on discounted orders cannot exceed the value of net invoice.
- Credits/warranties may not exceed 10% of your currently monthly gross expenditure with GSRx.
- Warranty on Complimentary jobs is limited to manufacturing defect only.
- No warranty on mirrors.
- Safety warranty - 1 year frame, no scratch, 1 year impact protection (if lens protects wearer in work-related impact and is damaged.
- Credits/warranties will not apply if an account is deactivated.
- In order to receive credit, you must remake the job with GSRx.
- A time limit of 90 days will apply on all changes.
- No doctor changes or non-adapts on custom-made or out-sourced orders.
- No credit will be issued on edging errors.
- Frame changes void all warranties.
Lenses only orders / patients’ own frames
- All lenses only orders will be cut according to box measurements provided or to a circumference size supplied by the customer. The customer assumes the responsibility to supply the lab with any deviation from that or supply a sample frame for edger sizing.
- GSRx is not responsible for breakage of patients’ own frames.
2nd pair program
- 2nd pair orders are discounted at 30% for all ND4™, epik™, Unity, and basic lenses. Use service code PR30 at time of ordering.
- 2nd pair orders are discounted at 50% for all aura-ai™ lenses. Use service code AU50 at time of ordering.
- All 2nd pair orders must be placed for the same patient within 90 days of the original order to qualify for the discount.
Customer’s own lenses
- Customer assumes all responsibilities and breakage for services (lens re-edge, lens dye, or stripping of coatings) performed on customer’s own lenses (all materials and coatings included).
Lenses
- Scratch coatings: 1-year 1-time replacement same frame and tint or manufacturers’ published warranty, whichever is longer, under normal wear. No scratch warranty on mirrors or safety.
- 2-Year upgrade additional charge: 2-year 2-time remake (normal use as determined by GSRx).
Telephone / internet errors
- All phone orders will be read back and accepted as being correct. Any error will be billed at 50%.
- Internet orders submitted will be accepted as correct. Any error will be billed at 50%.
Anti-reflective coating
- Coating replacement 1-time 1-year.
- 2-year warranty (1-time per year) available for purchase at time of ordering.
- All manufacturing defects are covered at no charge.
Frame returns
- Frame returns must be initiated by your GSRx Territory Representative and include a return authorization form.
- All frames returned must include demo lenses and be returned in appropriate packaging and in clean, like-new condition.
- Frames returned dirty or missing demo lenses will incur a $4 restocking fee. Broken or damaged frames will be billed at $13.
Guarantee
- All frame manufacturers’ guarantees against defective material will be honored.
Frame pricing
- Proper Optics frames are priced in GSRx packages. Frames sold outside of GSRx packages will be billed at list/net price based on office volume.
- Armourx frames are priced in GSRx packages only.
